The Alishan Cruise-Style Shuttle Bus, on the outbound trip, departs from Chiayi HSR Station/Train Station, stopping along the way at the surrounding attraction, Eryenping Trail. An English/Chinese guide leads and introduces the features of the site. After the stop time ends, the same bus continues to the next stop, finally reaching the Alishan terminal!

The return trip departs from Alishan National Forest Recreation Area, stopping along the way at Fenqihu, Chukou Visitor Center (Tzuku Tribe), before returning to Chiayi HSR Station/Train Station. (The outbound trip is not included in this product and must be purchased separately.)

｜Must-Visit Alishan Spot: ‘Fenqihu’PLUS Free! Super Popular Fenqihu Old Street Doughnut (1 piece)

Fenqihu is located in Zhonghe Village, Zhuqi Township, Chiayi County. It is a mid-point stop for trips to Alishan and one of the stations on the Alishan Forest Railway. In its early days, it was famous for its old street, lunchboxes (bento), and square bamboo, gradually developing into a settlement carrying countless nostalgic stories. Many travelers stop here to rest, sample local delicacies and souvenirs, making it one of the must-visit spots when going to Alishan!

The legendary 【Old Street No. 1 Doughnut Shop】—which you’ll regret not trying—is hand-made by a professional baker using Danish dough. Instead of traditional deep-frying, they use low-oil baking techniques to create a crispy doughnut. It is non-greasy, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and rich in milky flavor—a must-try specialty food when visiting Fenqihu!

The guide will take you to the 【912 Fenqihu Locomotive Depot】, a centennial county-designated historical site in Chiayi, renovated at a cost of 34 million NTD. It offers food and fun products themed around Alishan and selected local brands. The goal is to combine local ingredients with railway-themed coffee, helping travelers discover regional culture and various travel routes!

｜Chukou Visitor Center (Tsou Tribe Culture - Tzuku/Zhuilu Tribe)

The 'Chukou Visitor Center' is an important intermediate stop for travelers visiting Alishan. Besides resting here, you can visit the nearby 'Tzuku/Zhuilu Tribe' and 'Tsou Cultural and Creative Park' to experience the unique characteristics and culture of the Tsou tribe. Tzuku/Zhuilu Tribe (veoveoana) translates to 'Sika Deer Hunting Ground'. Legend says that in the past, Tsou people would chase Sika deer here to hunt. Although the traditional practice of hunting no longer exists, a deer park and archery range have been specially established for visitors to experience the tribal culture and get up close with small animals—don't miss it!

  • On the reserved date, please bring your identification document / National Health Insurance Card to the Alishan National Forest Recreation Area - Large Bus Turnaround Area (Assembly Point) to have your information verified by the tour leader before boarding.

  • Payment must be completed within one hour of the order confirmation. If the payment deadline is exceeded, the system will automatically cancel the order.
  • The system does not offer order modification. If you wish to change the quantity, you must refund the current order and place a new one.
  • Once any product has been redeemed or used, refunds are not accepted.

  • The Alishan dedicated bus departs at fixed times and locations. Please be sure to arrive at the boarding location on time. The dedicated bus cannot wait past the scheduled time, and no refunds will be granted afterward.
  • The itinerary time is for reference only. The sequence of the itinerary may be adjusted depending on road conditions and heavy weekend traffic. The actual departure/arrival time depends on the traffic conditions on the day.
